Worked examples and guides

Calculate crafting profit after returns and tax

Work through an Albion Ultimate calculation from ingredient costs to break-even price, and separate expected profit from the silver needed to start a batch.

Read buy orders, sell orders, and market averages

Use a worked transport example to distinguish a visible spread from an executable trade, account for market depth, and decide when an observation is too weak to use.

Use price-per-material rankings without mistaking them for profit

Follow a worked ranking example to understand material normalization, artifact and base-item exclusions, and the production costs that still need a separate calculation.

For production work

Built around Albion production workflows.

Connected planner

Calculator data can be saved and reused in planning with buy lists and leftovers.

Profile based

Specialization profile changes how results are calculated for your character setup.

How the toolkit works

Use market data as evidence, not as a promise

Albion Ultimate combines public market observations with the settings that affect your character and production route. The result is a repeatable way to compare choices, but every result still depends on the age and availability of the underlying market data.

Start with the market context

Prices in Albion Online are local to a market. A material that is cheap in one royal city may be expensive at the crafting destination, while the Black Market follows a different demand pattern. The price checker and price overview keep those locations separate so that a convenient average does not hide an important transport or liquidity decision.

Market observations come from the Albion Online Data Project. A missing or old observation is not replaced with a made-up value. Check the displayed source and update time before committing a large amount of silver.

Match the calculation to the character

Production profit is not only the sale price minus the listed ingredients. Resource return rate, focus cost, specialization, item quality, crafting fees, taxes, journals, and non-returnable ingredients can all change the result. The calculators expose these inputs instead of hiding them behind one unexplained profit number.

A saved profile supplies specialization values to supported calculations. Manual overrides remain useful when testing another character, a different city, or a future setup without changing the saved profile.

Turn results into a production plan

A profitable single craft does not automatically make a practical batch. The planner combines calculator entries, aggregates the starting materials, tracks returned resources and leftovers, and produces one buy list. This makes multi-step production easier to audit before purchasing materials.

Treat every calculation as a snapshot. Recheck prices, expected sales volume, transport risk, and available capital before crafting. Albion Ultimate supports that decision; it cannot guarantee that an item will sell at the observed price.
